White Chocolate Peppermint
Body Butter Recipe:
This is a fabulous recipe to gift. It certainly helps others fall in love with Young Living! Super easy to make and not very costly, this recipe is sure to become a favorite in your house!
Combine all oils and butters in a small pot or double boiler over medium-low heat. Stir gently until just melted liquid. Do not allow to boil. Remove from the heat, pour into your mixing bowl and allow the mixture to firm up just a little bit. You can stick it in the fridge, but don't forget it. Too hard and you'll have to wait for it to soften again. Softly solid is the best way to describe it. When I push on the top, it is firm, but indents. Kind of like an avocado in the store. When it's ripe, the indent remains. If you can push on it, find it firm, and the indent remains, you are good to carry on. Once it reaches this stage, add the peppermint (or your choice of essential oils!) and mix gently at first, then whip it up until the body butter is fluffy and stiff peaks are everywhere. It will look much like beautiful whipped cream if you did it right! Don't let the kids mistake it for a snack -- I know mine did and were so disappointed!
Once you're done, just spoon it into beautiful little jars. Believe it or not, the Dollar Store has some amazing choices of cute jars. Tie a ribbon around it, a sweet little note, and you are good to gift! ... make sure you save some for yourself!
